Helping Hands Elevate Our Daughters to a Place of Destiny
Destiny's Daughters of Promise is a mentor and leadership program for teen girls. We believe that the ills in present day society make it extremely difficult for young women to grow and mature into socially responsible citizens. Adults must intervene by taking the necessary steps to aid in the positive development of future generations.
One of the fundamental components of a leadership program is to emphasize techniques to build confidence, character development and self esteem. Research shows that girls have lower self-esteem than boys in middle school and conditions worsen when girls transition to high school.
What to Expect:
